Last autumn Håvard Storbæk played a majour role in ODDs row of seven (!) wins. He was on a outgoing contract, and chosed to accept an offer from Haugesund. That hasn’t been a success, and he wants to return to ODD.
– ODD has been talking with Haugesund. Now I’m in a dialogue with them. I hope it’s going through, preferably before the weekend because I recieved a offer from a different club aswell, says Storbæk to Varden.
Haugesund is willing to let Storbæk go without payment, but ODDs economical issues might stop the deal as they need help to fund the wages for three and a half years. Local businessmenn, with Millba director Bernt Ove Søvik in front, are working to raise money for the first six months of the contract.
– Håvard is a player I would like to see in ODD. But unfortunately that’s not for me to decide. Søvik and co. are doing a great job, says Fagermo to Varden.
Getting Håvard Storbæk back would be a great plus to a (so long) mediocre season. He’s a midfielder who plays with lots of enthusiasm, which seems to be needed, especially at a midfield that has disappointed. He can add to good stamina and extra firepower. Sign him up!
